How to change proxy settings in Internet Explorer through registry

Can someone tell me how do i change my proxy settings in my Internet explorer. I not able to change any settings as it is grayed out/disabled. I think it is restricted through group policy.

  1. Open regedit and goto below path

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel

change value to 0 in proxy (REG_DWORD)

Note: Take backup of registry before performing this change.

Open IE and goto Internet Options goto connections tab and click on Lan settings button. You will able to see that it won't be grayed out. You can add or remove the proxy settings.

Note: Once group policy refreshes that value will be changed to as set in group policy.

  4. Proxy sites help us in a lot of ways in our online time. The mainly significant is that a proxy site helps us to unblock or most favorite social site.  access New Album Releases in UK
