Internet Explorer gets hung, gets closed, page not opening and not responding

I was not able to browse any sites in Internet Explore. As soon as i typein any URL and click on OK the browser will close off. I was not able to open 'Internet options' and even any other menu bars.

    I have faced this issue on one of my server which is running on Windows 2003 Ent SP2. Unselected the 'Internet Explorer Enhanced Security configuration' from windows add/remove components and then reinstalled the IE through setup.

    It resolved the issue. I was able to open the IE and browse.
