How to Check Disk Signature of a disk on Windows Servers
You can check the disk signature through diskpart.exe command.
Windows 2003 and Windows 2008:
1. Goto command prompt
2. Type, diskpart and select the disk
DISKPART> select disk 0
Disk 0 is now the selected disk.
DISKPART> detail disk
TOSHIBA MK2561GSYN
Disk ID: 90719071
Type : Unknown
Bus : 0
Target : 0
LUN ID : 0
Volume ### Ltr Label Fs Type Size Status Info
---------- --- ----------- ----- ---------- ------- --------- --------

Disk ID is also called Disk Signature
